Basketball Season Opener! Varsity Boys vs. Westwood Lumberjacks 5PM Tuesday, December 3rd. Game will be live streamed on NFHS Network if you can't make it in person. No Varsity Girls game.
On Thursday, Dec. 5th both the Varsity Boys and Varsity Girls will head to the Greenville Basketball Tournament. Go Hornets!



We kicked off our adult education classes for the 2024-2025 year with a fall themed floral class where we made an arrangement perfect for your family table! Stay tuned for more classes.

Surprise Valley Schools is hosting their fall book fair. It will be open Thursday after school until 5:30, then 6:30 to 7:15. Friday the book fair will be open during the school day until 3:30.

Halloween is here and the hallway doors are decorated in the Beetlejuice theme. Later this afternoon the hallway will transform when the high school students decorate it for the elementary students to walk through!










Power Outage Update-
Tuesday October 29 is a minimum day due to the scheduled power outage. Students are out at 1:16. Seals will also be canceled tomorrow due to no power at the school. Sorry for the inconvience to our families. Buses will run on normal minimum day schedule.

Good Monday Morning SV Families-
I have confirmed with SVE this morning that the power outage is really going to be on Tuesday afternoon 1:30 to 5:30. There has been some miscommunication between the two power companies. Monday will be a full day, and Tuesday will be a minimum day. Thank you for your understanding

Surprise Valley Families-
We have been notified of a scheduled power outage on Tuesday October 29, starting roughly at 1:30 pm. We are going to have a minimum day, students get out at 1:16. We will give you an update on the availability of the Seals program when we know more. Have a good weekend.

Surprise Valley Schools were visited by the BMX tours yesterday. They not only showed some fantastic tricks to our students, but also left them with the message to stop or help stop bullying.








Surprise Valley FFA got to visit the capitol building in Washington DC. They even got a personal tour.



10 Students and 3 teachers have traveled to Washington DC and then will be continuing on to the National FFA convention later this week. Here is the crew as they are headed to the East Coast and their first day was spent at George Washington's Mt Vernon and downtown Old Alexandria.





Parent signup forms have been sent home with elementary students regarding Parent/Teacher Conferences. If you haven't seen anything, please ask you student.
