Hello Surprise Valley Families

Tomororow, August 18th is our Back to School Night. 5:30 elementary students can meet their teachers and other school and community organizations. Then at 6pm, the high school students will meet with teachers and schedule their classes.
Can't wait to see you all here and we are looking forward to a great year.

Quick update for the kind Meet & Greet! So sorry! It will start at 6pm, meeting in front of the school, NOT 7pm.

Don't forget about our scheduling nights for High School and Back to School night for our ES. Freshman and Seniors will meet tomorrow for scheduling and important grade relevant information for parents and students. On Tuesday 8th, 10th & 11th graders will meet for their parent/student meeting and scheduling. ES families will be able to come to check-in with their teachers and complete their student registration packets. Kinders and their parents will also have a chance to get a feel.for the classroom with Mrs. Pratt starting at 7pm. You'll meet her in front of the school. We are excited to see you!

Volleyball tryout updates! Rescheduled to next Saturday, the 15th at 10am. Physicals must be completed and the last free day for physicals at the clinic is the 14th. Call them to schedule.

Don't forget our first high school volleyball practice is tonight at 6pm! Position tryouts will also be this Saturday at 10am. Don't forget your completed physical form and sports packet. If you need a sports packet they are available in the office or tonight. See you there!

It's crazy to think about, but school is just around the corner and we need incoming 9th and 12th grade parents and students to add Friday, August 14th to their calendar for orientations. 9th graders and parents will meet at 6pm at the SVHS Cafeteria and the 12th graders with their parents will meet at 7pm. It is important you are there so we can get all questions answered as we prepare for two big years of high school! See you then! *We will meet with 8th, 10th & 11th grade during the back to school night. The date and more info will be released soon.

With some grant money we were able to purchase new stage curtains. This Wednesday, 6/10 starting at 10am we will have a work day to put them up. If anyone would like to help, we'd love to have your help!
