A family of the Surprise Valley and SV Schools Community has lost their home and belongings in a fire. We are collecting items and gift cards/certificates here at the school. Saturday is the last home game of the season and Senior Night. Join us in cheering on the Mighty Hornets one last time at home for the 2026 season! Games start at 1PM with the girls, followed by the boys. Congratulations to our senior players, Cayden Balcer and Trevor Pratt!

Our next home game is this Saturday, 1/31 vs. Hayfork Jacks. The Lady Hornets will take the court at 1PM. The boys will follow.

HOMECOMING GAMES Tuesday, January 20th. Varsity Girls start at 5:30PM with Varsity Boys to follow. Homecoming Court will be presented at half-time of the Varsity Boys game.

Our next home game is Friday vs. the Tulelake Honkers! Please make note the start time has changed to 5PM!

Homecoming is Tuesday, January 20th. Next week Jan. 12th- 16th is our Spirit Week with fun planned dress-up days! Flyers coming home today for students.

Due to tonight’s cancellation, we are rescheduling the Christmas Program for 9AM tomorrow, Dec. 19th in the SVHS Gym. Families and community members are welcome to join us.

Hello SVJUSD Families
The decision has been made to cancel our Christmas Program tonight. This is a very difficult decision to make, but we are unsure of how long it will take to restore power at this time.

We will see students tomorrow for our last day. It is a minimum day, students get out at 1:16.

ATTENTION SVJUSD:
We know there is a valley wide power outage. We are hoping the power is restored in time for our annual Christmas Program that is supposed to start at 6pm. We will make the final call between 5 and 5:30. Please be on the lookout for that notification, robo call and Facebook post update. Thank you for your patience.

The SVHS Class of 2026 has two extra decorated wreaths available for $50! if you are interested, please call the school and leave a message for Mrs. Scritchfield at her extension, 131. All proceeds help us put on graduation, senior activities and help pay for a senior trip.

Pretty proud of our Hornets tonight as we welcomed them home with lights, horns and cheers after a long three day tournament in Greenville. Our boys took 3rd Place and our Lady Hornets took the Championship! It's a good day to be a Mighty Hornet!!
