This Saturday, November 8th our Middle School Girls Basketball team will be playing home games in the SVHS gym. Come on out and support our Middle School Girls Basketball team.
The SVHS Seniors are selling wreathes to help pay for graduation, senior activities and their senior trip!
SV FFA is back at it again! They will be coming around to help support the local food drives through their food drive scavenger hunt in Cedarville on November 14th! If you want to make sure they visit your house, make sure to let us know and provide them with your address via leaving a message at x131 at the school or by messaging Surprise Valley FFA on Facebook!
Our Adult Education Program is offering our first floral class of the year on November 21st! FCFS.
Our students and staff and Surprise Valley would like to thank our amazing community for all of their support with our annual Halloween Walk. The kids had such a wonderful time and course they all enjoyed their treats. We appreciate the help for our the Sheriff's Department and CHP. Thank you again!!

Hey SV! Our 8th graders had a fundraiser Saturday and the senior class sold chili dinners. They had left over chili and you can grab a double serving of hearty chili for $15! Contact Mrs. Scritchfield at her extension, 530/279-6141x131 to grab yours!
Keep the pumpkin mess off your kitchen table and let us feed you! Don't forget to come out to support the 8th grade at tonight's pumpkin carving night! 8th graders will have all sorts of sweet treats, pumpkins of all sizes, gourds, a pumpkin carving contest for all ages and it's going to be a blast! The seniors have the chili on and it is $10 for adults and $5 for children ten and under.

We have lots going on and our FFA chapter has their biggest fundraiser of the year this coming Saturday! Tickets are on sale at Beam Market, from students or at the door. If you haven't been to Pig, Swig & Jig you won't want to miss it! There will also be a silent auction, raffle and dessert auction. All proceeds benefit students attending our next National Convention Trip and help offset expensive costs for State Convention. See you there!
Thursday, Oct. 9th is PINK OUT Day for Pink October. We encourage all students to wear pink to school and at the volleyball game that night.
The FFA Chapter has their swag site open and ordering closes Thursday, the 16th at 11:59pm. Check it out! So many great items!

Our Lady Hornet Volleyball team is on the road today vs. Butte Valley Bulldogs! Wish them luck and make sure you can watch most of our away games by subscribing to the NFHS Network! Even family members who can't make our home games can watch any time.
Just a reminder that we have our National Convention Parent/Student Meeting tomorrow for our next trip for Fall 2027. This meeting is very important and mandatory so we have a chance to go over the expectations between now and then.
